Real Food for a Change* - Tarilee's Top Ten Steps to Healthier Eating for Detoxification and Cleansing

by T L Cornish, Certified Nutritional Practitioner

Recovery from almost any kind of health imbalance can be enhanced by a candida cleansing detoxification program. Though the colon cleansing, detoxification and immune supporting products sold by Whole Approach are important components of a wellness program, in most cases, dietary transformation will also be at the core of a successful and lasting recovery. The transition from an average diet to an optimum diet for healing and health maintenance is a journey of patience, self-observation and self-knowledge.  If your health condition is demanding change, now is the time to begin.

Begin your healthy transition with consideration for your natural affinity for new habits. Do you like to change overnight or one small step at a time? Somewhere in between is likely best for most. In general, changes made mindfully and gradually will have lasting results. This Top Ten list will help you transition gradually to a diet that is optimal for you.

Remember to tune into the WholeApproach Support Forum for information, recipes and support. And if, at any point in your transitions, you need reassurance, you can reach for inspiration by reading the success stories of those who came before you in their own quest for a healthier relationship to food.

Top Five Tips for Skillfully Managing Candida Die-Off

by T L Cornish, CNP

"Die-off" is a slang term used to describe the phenomenon that accompanies any significant death of pathogenic organisms in the body. This effect is especially noticeable when candida yeast are killed off by anti-fungal use. This happens because their by-products or mycotoxins are released most when they die. If too many yeast are killed at once (due to agressive anti-fungal treatment), transient problems arise. Mycotoxins are known neurotoxins so increasing the levels too dramatically at one time can produce both physical and emotional/mental symptoms. Generally speaking, most people experience die-off as an exaggeration of their existing candida-related symptoms or as worsening of chronic health conditions.

Too much discomfort indicates that your eliminative organs have become overwhelmed with the cleansing work of trying to clear the mycotoxins (or in the case of detoxification, whatever other toxins you are eliminating from your tissues by cleaning up your diet or catalysing cleansing through herbal products.)

Whole Approach: Candida Diet and Treatment Success Stories Part I

Posted by Nutrition Team on Sat, May 02, 2015 @ 01:30 PM

A collection of WholeApproach success stories taken from the WholeApproach Support Forum:

"Chronic neck pain, shoulder and upper back pain, yes!! I had all of those for about 8 years, with an increase in intensity the last 2 years.  And that was with numerous trips to the chiropractor for adjustments.  My muscle pain started to decrease after being on the new diet for about 10 weeks. Not gone completely, but started to feel relief from it.  I would say maybe by Phase II, the GSE phase, I realized my muscle pain was mostly gone. That was also after aromatherapy messages. That will help clean the toxins out of your muscles.

It was after completion of my acupuncture and first aromatherapy message... I think? That I suddenly felt like someone pulled my shoulders upright and I found myself standing up straight.  I had a severe slouch for years.  Not anymore! I hardly ever go in for back adjustments now. My muscle are strong enough to hold my back bone in it's place. - Barbie

Resolving Candida Related Complex - The Whole Approach

by TL Cornish, Certified Nutritional Practitioner

The integrity and ecology of our intestines dictate our level of immune, digestive and mental/emotional health. Modern lifestyles can upset the optimum balance of the sensitive intestinal ecosystem made up of thousands of types of microorganisms. Imbalance causes a cascade of biochemical impacts that can affect all body systems.  When intestinal health is disrupted, pathogenic (harmful) microorganisms are no longer successfully kept in check by our beneficial microorganisms and they proliferate, at great expense to their host, (the patient).
